Peanut Butter Sandwich Cookies

Peanut butter is a great ingredient for cookies because it is so versatile. You can use it in all sorts of different recipes, and it always tastes delicious. Peanut butter sandwich cookies are a classic treat that everyone will love.

Warning, peanut butter is a very addicting ingredient and these cookies are hard to resist!

They are best enjoyed with a cold glass of milk, or a hot cup of coffee. If you're feeling really adventurous, try dipping them in melted chocolate.

Below is all you'll need, keep in mind that this recipe will make close to 3 dozen cookies. Don't eat it all at once!

Peanut Butter Sandwich Cookies Recipe

1/2 - cup granulated sugar

1/2 - cup packed brown sugar

1/2 - cup creamy peanut butter

1 - large egg

1 ½  - cups all-purpose flour

3/4 - teaspoon baking soda

1/2 - teaspoon baking powder

Baking Instructions

1) Heat oven to 375 degrees. Whip 1/2 cup granulated sugar, brown sugar, peanut butter, and egg in your large Belly Bowl. Stir in flour, baking soda, and baking powder.

2) Shape dough into 3/4" balls, place on cookie sheet and lightly press with fork.

3) Bake for about 8 minutes, or until edges are light brown.

4) Let firm for a minute, and remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.

Peanut butter and chocolate is always a winning combination, so don't feel bad about adding a few chocolate chips to this recipe. That's why they'll be the perfect treat for the next sleepover you're in charge of hosting! If there are any leftovers, take them to the office and you might even get a raise!
